Enervee’s Senior UX Designer is the force that both improves people’s experiences and drives business. Employing human centered design,  you are charged with delivering business outcomes through improving the experience that customers have with the Enervee Marketplace. Delivering positive impact on the user experience to drive; adoption, growth, revenue, and retention.


Our Senior UX Designer will be responsible for problem-framing, and helping the team break down the problems in the right way to yield interesting results. provides the right objectives and the right resources to drive the desired outcome. Our Senior UX Designer can be located anywhere in the US and you will be working closely with team members and partners located in Pacific, Central and Eastern time zones


How you will make an impact

As Enervee’s Senior UX Designer, you will provide leadership, direction, and mentorship for a growing team of designers, and lead creative and holistic thinking across diverse product initiatives. Having a clear vision of the future of user experience and passion for forward-thinking design is a necessity in order to keep Enervee at the top of its game.


In this role, you’ll use your research and design knowledge to deliver a strong UX vision for a variety of product initiatives. You’ll put that vision to paper with clear user flows and wireframes to guide our designers and engineering teams in how the desired experience will translate to the screen. You’ll design and run user experience tests and work the findings into specific next steps to optimize the experience on an ongoing basis.

  • Deliver a User Experience vision across Enervee’s ecommerce marketplace product suite, using human-centered and mobile-first design thinking

  • Simplify complex content and ideas into functional, usable interfaces

  • Collate inputs from end users, utility partners, and internal stakeholders to drive a best-in-class user experience

  • Create wireframes and user flows that easily communicate user experience journeys

  • Work directly with designers and engineering to bring the user experience to life

  • Design and execute user experience tests, including user surveys, usability testing, A/B tests, and multivariate tests

  • Collaborate with multiple teams, including Design, Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketin

Job requirements

What you bring to the team

Enervee’s Senior UX Designer is results-oriented, self-directed, and has the ability to drive change in an unstructured environment. You should have a proven track record of simplifying complex user journeys in addition to the following skills and experience.

  • 5+ years in a UX Designer or Senior UX Designer role

  • Bachelor’s degree in design or computer-related fields such as Human-Computer Interaction (HCI)

  • Hands on experience in ecommerce and or FinTech

  • Previous graphic and or UI design experience

  • Expertise in Sketch and wireframing and prototyping tools

  • Agile/Scrum methodologies

  • Mobile-first, human-centered design. Please share your portfolio of UX-focused work samples for web and mobile applications

  • Conducting user research, A/B and multivariable testing, and usability testing

  • Strong understanding of UI and usability standards

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other coding languages a plus
